Family

Our family therapy services provide a nurturing environment for open communication, conflict resolution, and improved relationships among family members. Our experienced therapists work collaboratively with families to address issues, build resilience, and cultivate a more harmonious and thriving family unit.
Children / Adolescents

Play therapy is an effective treatment for children experiencing difficulty in identifying, communicating and regulating their emotions. Play therapy can support children as they learn to manage their emotions. This therapeutic relationship between therapist and child/adolescent provides support in the development of positive, healthy attachments.
Adolescents: We use cognitive techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based type of treatment that focuses on thoughts, feelings and behaviors, this provides tangible coping skills to adolescents in therapy. We also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which emphasizes taking responsibility for one's problems and helps examine how to deal with conflict and intense negative emotions. This could be in combination of group and individual sessions. DBT is also used for older adolescents who have chronic suicidal feelings/thoughts, and self-harm behaviors.
REMOTE COUNSELING AVAILABLE
Within the state of Florida, we offer Telehealth counseling services, providing clients with convenience and flexibility. Our secure and confidential virtual platform ensures that you can receive quality counseling support remotely.

In tandem with individual and couples counseling, we sponsor recovery and support groups with Olive Baptist Church. We offer a range of support groups tailored to meet the unique needs of those navigating cancer, individuals overcoming addictions, widows navigating life transitions, those seeking solace in grief support, and individuals navigating the challenges of divorce. In these safe and empathetic group settings, you’ll find a supportive network to share experiences, gain insights, and embark on a journey of healing and renewal in the safety of community.
